Movie Review: The Blind Side (2009)

Hey!ヾ(☆▽☆) Everything's been hellish lately with all the school stuff. In fact, there's a Periodical Test tomorrow, but I'm just sitting here, blogging. What made me do this, you ask? Well, for one thing, my club adviser placed the deadline of this entry on October 22 (that's tomorrow, FYI). Now, back to the main point: this blog entry will be all about a neighboring club my adviser randomly placed me in, along  with a fellow club member/friend of mine.

The club that I was assigned to was called "Film Production Club", led by our Physics teacher, Mr. Sabong. Well, actually, the only thing we did there  was watch a movie called "The Blind Side" and we were given a paper wherein we are supposed to write our criticisms of the movie. That was about it.

Allow me to share my thoughts on the movie (don't expect much because I only got to watch half of it). As a writer, I must speak the mere truth. I found the movie opposite of extraordinary. The background of each character was... Well...Typical. I didn't find it so interesting, but on a scale of 1-10. I would give it a 7. I don't know, but there's something I like about it for some strange reason that I can't explain very well. Or maybe it was just because there was a certain charisma in some of the characters. What was that word...? Oh yeaahhh... Attitude. Yeah, that was probably it. I think it's the good vibes they give off coming throught the screen that somehow caught my attention. On the other hand, I enjoyed the plot. It wasn't too complex to the point that I couldn't understand it anymore, nor it was too cliché. Hmmm props? Check. Settings? Check. Everything in the movie was in proper place.

"The Blind Side" is about a guy named Michael Oher (pronounced as oar, yes, as in the one for boats), who struggles in a trauma he experienced as a child. But with the help of a caring lady and her family, he eventually gets over it and becomes a well-known football player. But that's not the end of it. There are more trials for him to face.

And... Cut! See ya!!  \(°o°;)More studying for me~!  (╯︵╰,)
