Top 10 Manga List

Hello once again to my readers  ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ . Today, our club adviser has tasked us to make a post about "Top 5 or Top 10 Somethings".  So, I decided to make a "Top 10 Manga List" of the manga that I've read so far (^▽^):

1. Gakuen Alice (学園アリス) - A manga that made me feel all kinds of emotions and at the same time taught me a lot of things in life. In fact, this was the only manga that has made ever me emotional to the point that I was already in tears. The characters in this manga have so much depth and mystery in them that I couldn't stop reading it.

2. Kaichou wa Maid-sama! (会長はメイド様!) - This manga always makes me squeal in almost every chapter of it. There is not a single boring moment in this manga. Everything is just so full of excitement and energy. It's like, you can feel it through the pages.

3. Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles (ツバサ・クロニクル) - I, for one, am not a fan of action manga, but this one was an exception. The characters, dimensions they travel through, and everything else will never make you lose interest. I love how the authors of this manga connect the titles of their other  works all together. It makes my eyes go wider each time a character from another manga comes along.

4. Shugo Chara (しゅごキャラ!) - Behind the girly appearance and characters of this manga, it's got an awesome cast of characters, good sense of humor, a hint of some romance, and some lessons to be learned all the time. The energetic characters really made me LOL but at the same time made me feel emotional. And in a way, this manga somewhat made a contribution to who I am now. It inspired me, and always will. Here's my favorite quote from it:

5. Kimi ni Todoke (君に届け) - Truly, this is the best manga for a rom-com fanatic (like me). Sweet love is always in the air whenever I read this.
6. xxxHolic (×××ホリック) -  xxxHolic shares the same authors as Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles. So, therefore, their plots have this connection in it. On the other hand, I find the art kind of weird (no offense) and the story kind of confusing (but maybe that's just me being me), but despite that, I love the mystery and suspense it has all the time. I love how it's centered on one theme: believing in the power of fate. Am currently planning to read its sequel, xxxHolic Rei.

7. Rockin' Heaven (ロッキン★ヘブン) - I can't help but admire the art of this manga. Especially the hair. I can't stop staring at their hair whenever I read this. But that is not the only thing I admire about this manga. The story was a job well done as well.
8. Kitchen Princess (キッチンのお姫さま) - I drool at the featured food in this manga. And at the back portion of this manga, there are recipes of the featured dishes. Which, by the way, reminds me that I have to get back to that. Moving on, this manga, as girly as it looks, is actually more interesting than what meets the eye. The storyline will really grasp your attention as you read it.

9. Mamotte! Lollipop (まもって! ロリポップ) - This is the first manga that I have ever read. It all started when I was about... 3rd grade? I was browsing through books in my local bookstore when the candy design on the cover caught my eyes' attention. As cute as it looks, well, actually, even the inside of it and everything else follows, even the plot and the characters are cute. It got me hooked up mostly because of the love story in it.
10. Arisa (アリサ) - It's not the kind of "kawaii" manga you think it is. It's more that that. Way more than that. Tragedies, deceits, and such, combined with a twisted, exciting plot is what makes this manga so exciting.

I'm sure some of you were expecting Naruto or Bleach or some of the other common manga. I'm actually still planning to read those. Well, the thing is, I haven't had that much time for anime or manga lately... And again, it's all school's fault.

Hope you enjoyed this post! (=⌒▽⌒=)
